Compassionate Care Saturdays
In response to our faithful partnership with Changing Lives, Go Therefore Ministries Incorporated established a local outreach chapter under the DBA:
Changing Lives – North Broward.
Our flagship initiative is Compassionate Care Saturdays, held on the 4th Saturday of every month, serving the unhoused and underserved in Broward County with both compassion and consistency. These monthly events provide essential services in a welcoming, Christ-centered environment.
Services Offered Include:
– Hot Meals
– Mobile Showers and Free Haircuts
– Clothing and Hygiene Supplies
– Medical Screenings
– Preaching of the Gospel, Prayer, and Spiritual Support
– Referrals to Housing and Social Services
Mission
Weekday Shuttle Bus Service: Removing the #1 Barrier to Care
Transportation is one of the biggest barriers faced by the unhoused—preventing access to food, shelter, medical care, and recovery services. To address this critical gap, Go Therefore Ministries Incorporated purchased a 14-passenger shuttle bus to launch a free, weekday transportation program. This shuttle service ensures individuals can reach:
– Food Pantries and Hygiene Facilities
– Medical and Mental Health Appointments
– Shelter Intake Centers
– Support Services such as LifeNet4Families
This initiative is powered by a united partnership:
– Go Therefore Ministries Incorporated (bus ownership and program lead)
– Changing Lives – North Broward (community outreach coordination)
– Fellowship Recovery Community Organization (FRCO) (case management and referrals)
– Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale (support and resources)
By combining faith, compassion, and collaboration, we are removing barriers and restoring hope—one ride, one meal, and one life at a time.
